Q1 2024 Recap: Top iOS Arcade Racing Apps in Europe

Arcade racing enthusiasts in Europe have been quite active in the first quarter of 2024. Compiled data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five iOS arcade racing applications during this period.

Pocket Champs PVP Racing Games by MADBOX saw a steady increase in weekly active users, rising from 146K to nearly 197K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at 65K in the last week of March, while revenue showed a significant uptick, hitting a high of $142K in the third week of March.

Another French publisher, Gameloft, had its title Asphalt 9: Legends maintain a consistent download rate, with a notable spike to 56K in the final week. Weekly active users fluctuated but ended on a high note, jumping to 114K in the last week from 108K at the start of the year. Revenue for the game saw highs and lows, with a peak of $64K in mid-February.

The US-based publisher Electronic Arts' Need for Speed No Limits experienced a mixed trend in both downloads and active users, yet revenue remained stable with a slight increase to $29K in the last week. Downloads saw a high of 40K in the second week of March, while active users reached 132K in the same month.

CarX Technologies from Russia had two games in the mix. CarX Street saw a gradual decline in downloads from 77K to 49K by the quarter's end, though weekly active users saw a slight recovery to 456K in the final week. Revenue reflected a decrease in general, with a brief rise to $23K at the quarter's end.

Lastly, CarX Drift Racing 2 showed a consistent pattern in downloads, hovering around the 13K to 23K range throughout the quarter. Active users were on a downtrend, starting at 98K and dropping to 68K. Revenue for the game remained modest, with a slight increase to $11K in the last week.
